Anton G. Hardy is presently practicing as a clinical psychologist in Albany, New York. He has been interested in the philosophical problems that are involved in his discipline and addresses these in two books, Psychology and the Critical Revolution and Symbol Philosophy and the Opening into Consciousness and Creativity. In the present book, he writes about his reactions to the political events that have taken place in the last fourteen years and provides for these events a psychological concept that he thinks is useful for understanding them.
