Though the good news of Jesus never changes, language and interpretation does.

The New Testament: Modern Evangelical Version by pastor and theologian Bob Helm is a clear, modern translation of the original Greek New Testament. Helm has used his experiences as a pastor and his expertise in Biblical languages to retranslate the New Testament from the original Greek into up-to-date 21st century English.

This new version boldly communicates the central message of the Gospel and will help provide hope to those who are seeking meaning in their lives.

"The New Testament provides real hope to people who are seeking meaning and purpose in life," said Helm. "And it provides the real solution to the problems of suffering and death."

Helm has used his extensive knowledge of Biblical languages as well as his experiences as a pastor to translate the New Testament into up-to-date English that people from all backgrounds will be able to understand.

"Many people ask why I retranslated the Bible," said Helm. "I tell them I wanted to put the New Testament in modern colloquial English that would effectively communicate its Christ-centered message - the good news."
