COCKERMOUTH, England
It's the summer of 1961 in Dorset, England. Jim Sandy has just moved to town and accepted a job as the guide at Rhodes Castle, which belongs to the Dalmane family. Things are going great, save one minor detail - Jim is in love with his employer's wife.
Patrick Wetenhall invites readers to experience his new novel, "The Guide of Rhodes Castle" (published by AuthorHouse UK), which chronicles the disastrous consequences of obsessive love.
Susan Dalmane, the countess of the castle, has been friendly with Jim since he first moved to town. While it began as a harmless friendship, Jim has found himself quickly headed into territory from which he can't return. Things grow ever complicated when Lord Dalmane hears of a suspicious picnic between his wife, Susan, and Jim.
"The Guide of Rhodes Castle" follows Jim, as he continues to make decisions that lead him into an uncompromising and inescapable situation.
