"The Green Eyed Girl" highlights Khaajd, a female dragon with a peculiar gift that is described in the book. Because of her ability to turn into a human, she is the dragon's special weapon against the humans.

Throughout the book, Khaajd realizes that humans are just like her and tries to redeem her deceitful choices by bringing the dragons and humans together. Through her actions, both groups of people have the opportunity to move forward in peace, rather than war.
