THE GIRL IN THE SPIDER'S WEB is a continuation of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Series. Larsson died of a heart attack in 2004 and his estate selected Lagercrantz, a Swedish journalist and novelist, to write the fourth book. The original three books in the series"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," "The Girl Who Played with Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest"have sold 80 million copies in 50 territories, including 24 million copies in the U.S.
The new book officially went on sale in 24 countries on August 27th and in the U.S. and Canada on September 1st.
