Author Joshua T. Douglas tells the story of "The Epic Saga of Jonah's Curse" (published by Xlibris AU). In its pages, it portrays a coming of age with an unusual aspect, spiritual habitation. The soul of the child is entwined with another, who accompanies the boy as he goes on the life journey of becoming a man.
The narrative follows the being who hitchhiked a ride along with an innocent child, and together they rode the wave of little Joshua's life: the trials and tribulations of a lifelong adventure complicated by two souls entwined. It covers a wide range of experiences from childhood to wild, dangerous teenage years. It includes a variety of social, economic and racial issues from a personal perspective. Douglas draws from his personal experience to infuse the story with life lessons, making it at once an esoteric exploration of spiritual inhabitation and an inspiring tale of personal development.
"The Epic Saga of Jonah's Curse" shows readers that anything in life is achievable regardless of background, color or social restrictions.
"Believe in yourself even if you are (or at least perceive yourself as) not your average kid," says Douglas to his audience.
