Obama-care, what does this mean for cancer patients and alternative medicine? Authors Wim Huppes and Mirjam Kemp exemplify the problematic consequences of one-payer systems in the healthcare administration today, in their new book, "The Dutch Institute."

"The Dutch Institute is scary, Obama-care will make the government of the U.S. bigger," Huppes said. "Obama care will be corrupting and non-fitting to the U.S. environment."

Huppes and Kemp's first autobiography is a political thriller that plays against present corrupt healthcare systems, claiming neither American corporatism nor the Dutch one-payer system is a positive route for healthcare.

"In the United States, too, the political elite decides behind closed doors whether or not a treatment is good," said Kemp. "Patients and doctors have little influence."

In this book they take matters into their own hands and move into the healthcare information economy. While Dutch politicians declare that the Dutch have the world`s best healthcare, Huppes and Kemp are not convinced.

"The reader of the Dutch Institute is drawn behind the scenes of a clandestine political reality," Huppes said. "Stronghold, the chairman of The Dutch Institute, is running the show."
