MANDEVILLE, La. - Authors Sterling J. Monsour and Steven Winter takes readers to the incredible world of Tannrias, a land of myth and magic, where the fantastic events of "The Concealed Chaos Series" (published by Xlibris) take place. There, they will join a hero journeying to save the realm from the forces of darkness bent on ending all things.
As the insidious forces of evil gather their forces, many of the diverse races living in Tannrias, remain oblivious to the threat soon to arrive. While the true circumstances are dire and dark, the realm has not yet been consumed by the forces of chaos and still remains full of life. There are also those dwelling on Tannrias who proclaim themselves to be holy in appearance and action, but their looks and deeds might belie their true natures.
Sidgbrienn Trosgrid, the son of Chief Rogradin Trosgrid of the island Throzgar, suffered an ill-fated omen according to Throzgarian culture. Fate might have other plans for the young man though, as he is shown another path that turns him into one of the prime pieces the realm of Tannrias will come to depend on in fighting the growing darkness. Fate has Sidgbrienn cross paths with folk who are willing to help him in his unexpected adventure, people brave enough to stand against wickedness and corruption for the same reason as Sidgbrienn, while others may simply join him for their own agenda.
As "The Concealed Chaos Series" plays out, readers will see how the different agendas affect the future of Tannrias and others in the long run, if the allies of the mysterious darkness will reveal themselves, all while the protagonists struggle to survive and save their world.
