Jim owned a Big Red Car. It sat in his big garage. One day Jim was going over to his friend Lila's House. So he got in the Big Red Car and started the motor. Vrooooooom, Vrooooooom, it went as he pulled it out of the garage. It had a nice, shiny, finish with two big front seats and one big backseat. Jim went down the road and as he got near Lila's house, he saw her come running out and yelling frantically! What could Lila be so upset about?

The Big Red Car puts the petal to the metal and passes the dogcatcher only to find Scraps stuck in a tree while chasing after a cat! Will Jim, Lila, and the Big Red Car save Scraps in time or will the dogcatcher grab him?

"The Big Red Car" takes children on an imaginary place where they can experience having healthy and happy relationships. It is a wonderful story that reflects on the importance of having a genuine friendship It shows that it is good for people to interact with one another with mutual respect and self sacrifice which results in happiness for everyone.

About the Author
Dr. Rich, physician and author, grew up in New Jersey as the son of a military defense engineer and grandson of a stage actor. Inspired by family members in the performing arts, he always had dreams of communicating through music and written language. After having four children, storytelling became commonplace, especially at the children's bedtime. The Big Red Car quickly became their favorite tale. Hoping that others would have the opportunity to enjoy the story as much as he and his family had, Dr. Rich worked to bring the story to the printed page and the Big Red Car was published in 2014.
