TESOL International Association, a U.S.-based professional association devoted to promoting excellence in English language teaching, announces the launch of TESOL Press. The new press will support the association's mission by offering not only books but also TESOL's two academic journals, TESOL Quarterly and TESOL Journal, as well as white papers, research briefs, and other publications on issues important to English language teachers.

"TESOL Press pulls together the various strands of the association's publications program and weaves them together to better serve TESOL professionals and others who work with English language learners," said TESOL Executive Director Rosa Aronson. "Books will always anchor our program, but the new Press will allow us to expand our offerings to include shorter downloadable documents as well as e-books." She noted also that including these other publications would allow TESOL to be more responsive to a rapidly changing field.

TESOL International Association has a long history of providing quality publications written by leading experts in the field, experienced researchers, and classroom teachers. In addition to its two academic journals and numerous online newsletters, the association currently has more than 90 titles in its back list. TESOL publications are used in English language classrooms, language teacher training programs, and libraries around the globe. The TESOL Press can be accessed online at http://www.tesol.org/tesolpress.
