Author Susan Rae Glass explores the world of werewolves in her new supernatural crime thriller, "Claws and Robbers" (published by AuthorHouse).

Set in Hounslow, a borough of West London next to Heathrow Airport, "Claws and Robbers" tells the story of a typical police response team starting out on what they think will be a normal night shift. When a man's body is discovered in an alley ripped to pieces, officer Lauren Wylie and her teammates realize that their night is far from ordinary, and it's about to go from bad to worse.

Lauren and her colleagues begin to dig deeper into the investigation, and more bodies are discovered. The murders are committed by a pack of werewolves. There are two packs; the rogues responsible for the killings and the real wolves, a society hiding in plain sight with jobs and lives that appear normal. However, these creatures have an exclusive membership and set of values apart from the real world.

"In other supernatural books, the werewolf is usually a slave to vampires or reclusive or not united," Glass writes. "My werewolves have been based on how a wolf pack in the wild works, and I have not paid attention to how they have been written in other similar genre books."
