Bestselling author Susan Mallery is thrilled to announce the release of her latest book, Christmas on 4th Street, a Fool's Gold romance novel. Christmas on 4th Street, named by Amazon as a "Best Book of the Month," is available now in gift-sized hardcover, ebook, and audiobook online and in stores across the nation. This is Mallery's fifth 2013 book release, and the fourth that is part of her most popular romance novel series, the Fool's Gold romances. Earlier this year, Just One Kiss, Two of a Kind, and Three Little Words each debuted in the top ten on the New York Times bestsellers list, with Three Little Words statistically tied for the number one spot.

"I love writing Christmas romances," Mallery says. "Christmas season can get hectic and overwhelming, and a Christmas romance gives book lovers a moment to step away from the craziness. I recommend reading it in a cozy chair with a cup of hot chocolate at hand and Christmas music playing softly in the background."

In Christmas on 4th Street, Noelle Perkins, once a lawyer, has opened The Christmas Attic in downtown Fool's Gold, a small town in the foothills of California's Sierra Nevada mountains. Although she's a first-time business owner, she feels prepared for the holiday rush - until it snows, and her college-aged employees quit to go skiing.

Enter Dr. Gabriel Boylan, on medical leave from the Army. Gabriel suffers from compassion fatigue, a very real problem faced by medical personnel and caregivers, and he has to decide whether or not to re-enlist. He's spending the holidays with family in Fool's Gold, but his drill sergeant father is making it difficult for Gabriel to relax. He volunteers to help Noelle at The Christmas Attic. Against the twinkling lights of Christmas in a small town, the two can't help but fall in love.

"All my books have happy endings," Mallery says. "It's a promise I make to my readers. My books get very emotional, but readers can relax into the story knowing that everything is going to work out well. They'll close the book with a satisfied sigh."
