Susan Castriota, Author/Illustrator of WILSON LEARNS MANNERS! to Appear on THE DOCTORS

Willie Wilson's Wondrous Tails book series written and illustrated by Susan Castriota were created to teach and inform young readers about important issues in our world. "Wilson Learns Manners!" shows the significance of good manners to children. Manners have to be taught and there is no age limit for their application. "Manners are a subject that are easily glossed over and forgotten in our fast-paced society today," said Castriota. "However, the reality of having good manners and being a grateful and conscientious person is never a bad thing and really help you be successful in life." One of Castriota's "pet peeves" is cell phone manners or the lack there of in today's society. Included on the Phone Manners page is this paragraph "When you are using a cell-phone, never talk loudly in front of other people. They are not interested in your conversation. Go to another room to speak or wait until you are alone." Other manners talked about in the book are "sharing", "respect your elders", "borrowing" and more.

Wilson helps children learn the proper way to behave by interacting with his doggie friends Kiki, Bella and Sydney in a variety of situations that can serve as an example to children on how to act in their lives.
