In her new book of poetry, "A Poetic Sojourn into Life's Chronicles" (published by Trafford Singapore), Sumitra Woodhull reflects on her innermost thoughts, feelings and emotions. Her poems are inspired by her life, and she delves into experiences that moved and affected her deeply and profoundly.

Woodhull describes "A Poetic Sojourn into Life's Chronicles" as "a romantic piece of artistry which is sentimental and beautiful to read." She writes in a romantic style, drawing from her creative imagination and crafting a unique, descriptive flow of prose and engaging wordplay.

An excerpt from the poem "Diamonds in the Blue Yonder":

"The brilliant diamonds are a guide to starry-eyed sailors,
Perhaps even a companion to truckers in mighty trailers,
We will never tire of the scenery of this glittering dark blue yonder,
Of the ethereal solitude and tranquility you
represent, our hearts can only grow fonder."

Woodhull believes all readers can find something to relate to in "A Poetic Sojourn into Life's Chronicles," and that it will speak to their lives, fantasies, hopes or feelings. "I would like readers to have a deep connection with the thoughts and emotions I express," she says. "I hope they can relate to the emotions, and appreciate them."
