Steven L. Rowe Releases 'Sea Road to Neverland'

Captain James Hook, that famous villain and nemesis of Peter Pan, has a past that has only been hinted at before, including the secrets of his birth, his extensive education and his standing in English society before the fall that set him on the road to infamy. Steven L. Rowe would like to give a proper background about this villain and it prompted him in writing "Sea Road to Neverland," (published by Archway Publishing) a novel that presents the story of the life of Hook, showing a classic figure of literature from a fresh perspective.

This book traces the rise of Captain James Hook from a penniless pirate with grand dreams through his winning the Nom de Guerre of "Hook" and becoming the captain of the Jolly Roger through his own skill and guile. At the culmination of his scheme, his new command is swept by mysterious forces to an island known from dreams, Neverland. On this island, Captain James Hook realizes that still greater possibilities are available to him, should he be able to meet the challenges of Neverland.
