In his new illustrated children's book "We Can't Move at Christmas!" (published by AuthorHouse), author Steve Altier presents a compelling new Christmas story.
In this enthralling book, a family struggles with moving at Christmas. Readers meet two young children - Gabby and her younger brother, Maddox - who worry that Santa won't find them at Christmas. They have no new address yet. Will Santa have to deliver their presents to a hotel, they wonder? Luckily for them, Santa's Family Moving Department, an elite group of elves, is on the case.
An excerpt from "We Can't Move at Christmas!":
"Gabby's Father was right. Santa did have a department that watches over families that are moving at Christmas: 'The Family Moving Department.'
This group of elves was better known around the North Pole as, 'The FMD.' Now these were some of Santa's most elite elves. They had a worldwide network that monitors families moving all year long. Keeping track of where all the children live was a very important job for the FMD. But, families moving at Christmas were one of the hardest tasks they faced."
Altier knows his storybook will find a ready market. "Many companies today are downsizing or moving to new locations," he says. "If a family doesn't move with the company they lose a job."
