Caroline is an ordinary high school teacher in a small coal mining community. When spring rolls around, everything she always wanted appears to come to fruition, but Caroline learns the hard way that life is not always as it seems.

Sarah E. Kincaid's "Spring till September: Book One" (published by WestBow Press) is a coming-of-age story that examines how the events in one's life brings a person from childhood to adulthood. Kincaid portrays how Caroline's responses to love, loss, heartache and life changes affects the woman she will grow up to be. The novel is the first in a planned series.

"'Spring till September" is not a basic romance," Kincaid explains. "There is so much family and life included as well. There are also points of mystery, because as the story unfolds, so many details are vague and require you to dig deeper for answers to be revealed in the coming pages and subsequent volumes."
