As a four-part guide, "It's Not the Money, It's Who it's Going To: Life Lessons and Easy Guides" (published by Archway Publishing) explores both positive and negative life lessons. Combining fast-paced fiction with easy guides, the book focuses on self-assessment to help readers prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

"I've always thought life would be easier with some sort of written life guide," author Sophia Renee Oglesby explains. "I wanted to create one for my daughter to have after I'm gone. I decided to use my fiftieth year as my motivation to get it done."

With relatable stories for both men and women, the guide provides an in-depth look at life lessons to teach readers how to control their own response and read people's reactions to situations. It also includes recipes to provide comfort during challenging days.

"I hope that readers will feel that they can benefit in some way from any of the examples I wrote about in the book. I hope readers will enjoy the mind candy format I chose to write the sections in and consider the book a good read."
