My daughter and her husband have a wonderful, little boy named Chase, and since the time of this writing, have had two lovely daughters, Kailee and Aubree. Wish he could have seen them come into this world. My dad was so proud of his first and only great-grandson. Chase and my father would pick veggies and berries in the garden. That time of my Dad's life was the happiest I had ever seen him. His face glowed with excitement when Chase would visit. I thank God for the extra time that my Dad was able to spend with his family. Although I could write a book of the good times we had in those last years, I will let my father tell his own story.
