Author James Logan weaves an enchanting tale about a human and an angel who felt the pull of love but they are both kept apart by a secret that will forever change their lives. An engrossing fictional fantasy, Skin City will take the readers into one unforgettable journey to explore the depths of two people's fiery hearts.

Angels and humans are two poles apart. Nothing will ever bring them together apart from the call of a true and pure love. Esta is an angel who is tired of holding her true identity from her human friend, Bridda. The secret of her race is a terrible curse that holds her back from confession. On top of that, the place they live has been held captive by a tyrannical ideology of inequality that makes the love they long for so much harder to flourish. The obstacles that they face are real and they are driven by the feelings they have for each other to make it work.

Will the fire between them lift them both to freedom?

This compelling book explores a world where there is too much oppression. It shows how society is shaped by ideologies controlled by the many, restricting the minorities from fully comprehending the truth and breaking away from constraints. Brida and Esta struggle to fight those restrictions throughout their journey. They both try to overcome the obstacles in their paths despite their differences.

Skin City is a tale about forbidden love that proves how feelings can be pure and true despite the dire circumstances the remarkable characters are in.
