Shonda Rhimes, best known as the creator of shows like Grey's Anatomy and Scandal, has been tapped by Simon & Schuster publishing to write a book that is described as, "part memoir, part inspiration, part prescription." According to Deadline.com, the book will delve into Rhimes' personal life and how she balances two hit shows currently on the air along with raising three daughters.

"Shonda Rhimes is bar none in the storytelling realm," said Simon & Schuster VP and Editor-in-Chief Marysue Rucci. The publishing house is looking at a publication date sometime in 2015.

Rhimes is taking the media world by storm. In addition to her wildly successful TV shows, Rhimes has also twice made it onto Time's list of most influencial people, and the President himself recently appointed her as Trustee for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
