About the Author
Raised by a single mom and influenced by Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes, Sherri Ferguson developed a love for speaking and performing in front of crowds at a very young age. Life for Ferguson has never been unproblematic, yet through her many challenges, she has always been capable of staying focused on the positive and perceiving her many trials to be development to help others. The former Pre-School Teacher and Certified Medical Biller decided to seize control of her existence in more ways than one. Sherri Ferguson is a poet, playwright, and singer amongst her numerous other talents. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and is now residing with her two children in Weatherford, Texas.
