The pain of losing a child is indescribable, as author Sharon Hardy-Myers herself experienced when her youngest, Makye, was taken away from her. She remembers the tragedy that befell her teenage son, and how she dealt with the death physically, mentally and spiritually in a healthy way, to move forward in life rather than succumb to grief and despair. Her new book, Heaven And Earth, shares these ultimate insights to readers everywhere, showing them how to become a more positive human being in the face of life's vicissitudes.

Hardy-Myers lets her readers know that death is not the end, but the beginning of a life on a different, or spiritual, level. Life is a continuing process, and there is a positive and healthy way to live with the experience of losing a loved one. Through Heaven And Earth, readers will learn that they are never alone, that a Higher Power is always there for them, along with their loved ones. Their faith must be strong enough to withstand grief, and that each and every passing day is part of the process of becoming wiser, stronger and more loving. "We radiate universal wisdom and love," Hardy-Myers shares. "Negative people may diminish our joy, but they will never steal our souls and kill our spirit."

This book will show readers how to get some closure of the past so that they can adjust to the universal change in their lives in a healthy way. Though loved ones may be lost, the cycle of existence and life must go on in Heaven And Earth.

About the Author
Sharon Hardy (a.k.a. Montsha Ofori) is a Washingtonian. She was born on January 22, 1953. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1971. She then attended Washington Technical Institute, which later became the University of the District of Columbia. She majored in accounting on her first year and then changed her major to ornamental horticulture, which she studied for three years. She was paying her college tuition fee by grants, so after her third year, when the system decided that a student couldn't get a grant without a loan, she decided to discontinue her education at UDC. She knew that she didn't want to commit herself to a loan. So she decided to go to cosmetology school. There, she was able to accomplish getting her operator's license, manager's license, and instructor's license, along with raising her three sons, Michael (Aswad), Mikhail (Khail), and Makye (Kye) with her husband, Roderick Myers (Kwasi).

There was a time in her life when she used to think she was cursed. But from the time that she connected with Mother/Father God, her life and all of her experiences have become a lesson and full of blessings. She never said that she wanted to be a writer; it wasn't in her plans. But she never thought she would live to see her child die either. So at the time she wrote her book, she let the spirits guide her, and the spirits also led her to a psychic who explained to her that her writing was Makye's way of talking to her from the other side and that she should share it with other people. This is the only reason she felt a need to publish her book.
