PENSACOLA, Fla.
Author Paulette Salmon has an incredible love for the beach, the Blue Angels and children. From observing young children at play on beautiful Pensacola Beach, to watching the annual air shows, it's no surprise she was inspired to write a book encapsulating the vivid excitement she pens in her book, "Seagulls, Sandcastles, and Angels of Blue" (published by CrossBooks).
Originally published in 2011, "Seagulls, Sandcastles, and Angels of Blue" tells the story of Driftwood, a grumpy seagull who senses adventure when he learns that there will be an air show at the beach. Following his dreams of becoming an air show pilot, swimming with a dolphin named Tuna, playing hide-n-seek with the sand crabs and surfing with Rocky the red snapper makes for the perfect day.
Salmon's new story not only inspires children to follow their dreams, but also educates them on beach safety, all told through the delightful story of Driftwood's perfect beach day.
