Saroj K. Vohra Releases VARIEGATED LEAVES

Author and poet Saroj K. Vohra drew inspiration from his many life experiences to write his new anthology of poetry, "Variegated Leaves" (published by AuthorHouse).
Vohra says "Variegated Leaves" is an amalgamation of his musings on personal relationships and experiences, culminating in an honest and candid expression of his inner voice and deep thoughts.
He offers readers a glimpse into his perception of day-to-day life, while also making use of universal themes like love, friendship and despair. He believes poems offer him an incomparable channel through which to express his deep, inner thoughts.
"Nature is beautiful; enjoy it," Vohra says. "Life is a question mark; live it. In a way, we all go through the same experiences, sooner or later. Love is a gift and can be found in everything."

"I wonder what happened to those magnificent times,
When like diamonds, my dark nights used to shine.
She used to tell me at the start of every day,
'She would love me truly and always.
Like my shadow, she would follow me every place
and no matter what, she would never go away.'
Love was refreshing like the morning rays.
Those were really the most wonderful days"

Saroj K. Vohra was born in India. After spending the early years of his life and education in his native country, he migrated to and settled in the United States. He received his post-graduate education in Philadelphia. He has authored dozens of articles in leading journals on a wide variety of topics and is the recipient of many honors and awards. "Variegated Leaves" is his first book. He is now at work on a romance novel.
