Rebecca has suffered verbal abuse, threats to her safety and daily torments designed to jeopardize her job, all at the hands of the workplace bully. Her plight is reviewed and resolved in Sandra Walden Pearson's new book, "The Empowerment Transplant: How to Reclaim Your Life as a Victim of Workplace Bullying" (published by Balboa Press AU). By using simple exercises and understanding how they work, Rebecca learns to overcome intimidation and sidestep disempowerment, gaining the tools to reclaim her life and prevent becoming a future victim.

"Victims of workplace bullying know how it feels to dread facing another day at work and the stress that puts on relationships, families and job security," Walden Pearson says. "It can become so overwhelming that they just don't know what to do for the best."

Walden Pearson explains that "The Empowerment Transplant" delivers a self-aware, strategic and practical approach to turning this around. Through real-life scenarios and opportunities to reexamine their own situations, readers can identify and understand the environment that fosters bullying and learn the same skills that enable Rebecca to transform from victim to empowerment. Its mix of information and activities motivates readers to develop knowledge and confidence to make positive changes they need and want.

Walden Pearson passionately believes that being able to identify and understand the relationships and dynamics at play in workplace bullying provide the foundation for empowerment and wellbeing. "We all have the capacity," she adds. "We just need to develop self-determination capability...to enable us to reclaim our lives and help prevent experiencing intimidation and disempowerment in the future."
