Young adults preparing for college already have a lot on their minds. There are classes to register for, new roommates to meet and many times, the daunting and exciting experience of leaving home for the first time.

So how do young Christians prepare for all of these new experiences while remaining firm in their faith? Author Sallie Hite McDaniel and her new book Jesus Is My Thesis aim to help ease the tough transition between a spiritual upbringing and a new secular environment.

Jesus Is My Thesis gives readers a firsthand experience of secular teachings and encourages them to consider the claims of who Jesus really is from a Christian perspective. Holding themes in education, philosophy and salvation, McDaniel speaks from her own experience of having her Christian foundation shaken up while attending a major university.

"I have written a personal book that exposes the secret methods professors use to try to indoctrinate unsuspecting students based of my own experiences," said McDaniel. "My hope is to better prepare young Christian adults to face the secular world that awaits them within higher education."

Jesus Is My Thesis stresses the importance of learning the Bible before being exposed to secular philosophy commonly taught in universities.
