STORIA Announces FREE eBooks, Contest for Teachers and More...

Scholastic is inviteing every teacher and every family to start the school year with free ebooks from Storia^®, the new, teacher-recommended ebook and ereading system designed specifically for children from toddlers to teens.   The app can be downloaded FREE to PC, iPad or Android tablets (with more platforms to come later this fall) to start a digital library for home or classroom use, and comes with FIVE FREE EBOOKS – including a special Clifford the Big Red Dog^® ebook in honor of his Big Red 50^th birthday this year.   Teachers who download Storia for their classroom will receive an additional five free ebooks specifically selected for their students' grade level. 

Storia Scratch and Win Sweepstakes on Facebook

In addition to receiving five free ebooks with download, families and teachers can enter the week-long "Storia Scratch and Win" sweepstakes to win iPads and ebooks. Participants can enter at facebook.com/scholasticbookclubs.  Five Grand Prize winners will be selected each day from September 10^th through the 14^th to win an iPad. Twenty First Prize winners will be selected daily to each receive ten free ebooks that they can choose from a preselected list.  Click here to view complete details and official rules. Storia at School Book Fairs

Storia will also be available this fall in more than 25,000 Scholastic Book Fairs in schools across the country, where families and educators can become immersed in the world of Storia and explore the wonderful selection of ebooks for children.  

Storia at The Scholastic Store in New York City

Storia is opening its first ebook retail experience at The Scholastic Store in Soho, New York.  Kids and parents can enter a child-friendly digital storybook experience and share a digital story time at the Storia Exploratory Table, where laptops and desktops are on display. Kids can try Storia at the Storia Digital Reading Wall, which has iPads arranged at all different heights for all ages.
