Inspired by his life's journey across continents and by people from different cultural and religious backgrounds, Dr. Joe G. Vethanayagam has written his first book, "Soul Lovers and Soul Makers: The Life Of Abundance" (published by Balboa Press), about finding happiness by connecting with one's inner self.

"I often draw my inspirations and reflections from nature, but I leave it to the readers to develop their own interpretations and finalize their thoughts as they apply to them. They will remain free to explore their own way to their own soulfulness and happiness," the author says.

About the Author
Dr. Joe G. Vethanayagam was raised in Asia, studied in Europe and the USA, and eventually settled in Maryland. As a child, he schooled under Jesuit priests in Sri Lanka. He continued his education in the Netherlands and moved to the United States to further his education. He received a doctorate from North Dakota State University and worked for nearly two decades as a scientist at biomedical research institutions, including the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. Although he has published articles in various scientific journals, this is his first book.
