Author S.K. Langin transports readers to a Wyoming ranch for a tale of romance, friendship and danger in her new novel, "Whispers from the Past" (published by Trafford Publishing).

Jessie Cooper and Tyler McKay are trail guides at Wyoming's Jute Valley Guest Ranch. Located in the Wind River Mountain area, the ranch is popular with trail riders and offers well-trained horses and a variety of scenic trail guides for riders to enjoy.

Jessie and Tyler have different pasts, one more dangerous than the other. When old friends show up at Jute Valley Guest Ranch, emotions run high as the past comes back to haunt the two trail guides. Their friendship becomes jeopardized.

Horses, music, adventure, danger and evil await the characters in "Whispers from the Past." Readers will follow Jessie and Tyler as they navigate newfound romantic feelings for one another. Will the past continue to haunt them, or can they break free from old influences and find a new future together?

"I want my characters to connect with the readers so that they feel like they are part of the story," Langin says. "I want them to realize that no matter if you are small, tall, short, male or female, your dreams can come true."
