Houston

According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), over 2 million adults in the United States struggle with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). For anyone with mental illness, the battle can be debilitating due to a lack of awareness, treatment, and support.

For Jordan R. Jensen, Ed. D., learning to effectively manage OCD and depression resulted in the Self-Action Leadership Theory and Model and his new book, "Self-Action Leadership: The Key to Everything," a resource for personal responsibility and self-leadership as a means to achieve success.

Jensen realizes the importance of the model highlighted in his book for not only those battling OCD and depression, but for anyone facing adversity in their lives. It also speaks directly to leaders and educators by calling for more character-based, self-leadership oriented educational opportunities for students everywhere.

For more than a quarter of a century, Jensen has studied the science of self-leadership.

Influenced by Stephen R. Covey and his "7 Habits of Highly Effective People," Jensen builds on Covey's concepts of "Private Victory" and personal leadership in his own book.

"Since Covey's passing last year, the message of personal leadership has waned and is in great need of a resurgence. My book does just that," said Jensen, "and is an academically sound and practical resource for achieving personal greatness."

Jensen is the founder of Freedom Focused LLC and an international speaker. He has delivered 445 presentations, speeches and seminars on over 30 different topics including self-leadership, team leadership, management and emotional intelligence.

This guide for personal responsibility and success is perfect for leaders, businesses, educators, and individuals looking to navigate life with courage, character and competence.
