In their book "Sacred Ground," co-authors Christina Kook and Greg Yau reveal various practices that energize and revitalize the body, improve recovery times, significantly ease chronic pain, and make aging joints feel young again.

Specifically designed to support people's understanding of their own health, "Sacred Ground" explains how the mind, body and spirit all work together to achieve overall wellbeing.

Inspired by the teachings of Yau and written by Kook, "Sacred Ground" aims to help readers experience the profound benefits of the Qi Gong practice. According to Yau and Kook, the lessons within the book help people relax their bodies, decrease their heart rates, lower their blood pressure, and achieve overall mental clarity.

"Qi is the vital energy in our body. Gong means to cultivate the Qi," Kook said. "Our book, "Sacred Ground," highlights Yau's teachings and shows readers how to use sounds, mudras, physical movements and breathing exercises to develop an awareness of Qi in the body."

Yau and Kook offer a holistic approach to healing. According to them, learning the necessary skills to achieve wellbeing is essential for successful healing.

"The human being is the most complicated machine in the world." Yau said. "We've taken a complex healing technology and made it easy to learn."

About Grand Master Greg Yau:
Born in Hong Kong and raised in San Francisco, Grand Master Greg Yau began studying the Wing Chun system in 1972. Though Yau's training was in the martial arts, he began to question the value of studying violence as a means of solving problems. He came to realize he was more interested in helping others. Today, Yau's focus is on helping people improve through sports, fitness, martial arts and health fields.

About Christina Kook:
Christina Kook helps her clients release long held habits of tension and feel young and happy again. She loves teaching people to move fluidly through life with foundation and internal strength and is honored to share Prime Life Healing Qi Gong with you.
