In author Ryan Archer's debut novel, "The Curse of the Rodain: Book One of the Rodain Trilogy" (published by WestBow Press), spiritual warfare erupts between two nations and the curse of the Rodain is reignited in this first novel of the Rodain trilogy.

Set in the fantasy lands of the Gartigraccians, "The Curse of the Rodain" opens with a great war raging across the lands. King Elkar of the Rodain seeks to conquer all lands in the name of his sacred book. All seems lost for King Adathor of the Gartigraccians when through treachery Elkar steals the mighty Opstone from Castle Gartigraccus.

In an effort to save his people, Adathor journeys to the Three Kingdoms in search of allies, leaving a regent in his place. After Adathor leaves, two men arrive in the city, proclaiming that the Son of the Father has arrived and is doing good works and bringing peace to the people. The regent feels his power is threatened, and in an effort to find true freedom, he tries to remove the Father from their society. Will he succeed? Will Castle Gartigraccus fall to the terrible curse of the Rodain?

Packed with non-stop action and adventure, "The Curse of Rodain" presents a new look at spiritual warfare and the follies of men. Archer hopes readers will be inspired into a "pursuit of fellowship with the Lord Jesus and an uncompromising stand on the truth of the Word of God with an acute awareness of the spiritual realm."
