Four-time author Wesley Don Lawrence pens his newest novel chronicling man's never-ending struggle to survive in a complex world.

Lawrence's "Running Man" (published by AuthorHouse) is a fast-paced action tale about an enigmatic young man named Roman Deviuere who, with the help of his friends, attempts to overthrow ominous forces seeking to dominate the world. These ominous forces are manifested in a sinister Russian despot and a pretentious, religious autocracy in the United States.

The book's plot goes on to include a story of two women, torn between their respective love for one man, who become entangled in a fit of passion, ambition, punishment and supremacy.

Lawrence says the aim of his book is to portray the fight for power in a domineering political climate, which relates fully to what he calls "today's impasse" with powerful governments around the world.
