Leading independent digital publisher RosettaBooks has licensed United States eBook rights to I, Claudius and Claudius the God, the two most celebrated works of poet, novelist, critic and historian Robert Graves, who published more than 140 works during his long career.

One of the great figures of 20th century English poetry and literature, Robert Graves was acknowledged as a master of myth-inspired novels, stories based on literary events and translations of ancient Greek and Roman texts. He also wrote some of the most popular works on these same topics for children. "We are privileged to add these 18 works of Robert Graves to our major author collections at RosettaBooks," said Arthur Klebanoff, CEO of RosettaBooks.

"The comprehensive publishing plan offered by RosettaBooks appealed to the copyright holders," said Linda Shaughnessy on behalf of AP Watt at United Agents.

With the assistance of Jonathan Ward, head of the London office for RosettaBooks, and Roger Cooper, Associate Publisher, the eBook publisher will distribute eBook editions of all 18 books, and print on-demand editions of 12 books. The first tiles will be published in Spring 2014.

The RosettaBooks Robert Graves collection will include United States eBook rights to:
