EMMAUS, Pa.

Called "inspirational musings" by his family, the contents of Roger R. Coyle's new book, "Quiet Thoughts: Written Reflections" (published by Balboa Press) are Coyle's reflections on his life from the quiet of his mind, heart and soul.

"I think people will relate to most of my life journeys," author says. "My hope is that these reflections will touch their spirit, open the door for dialogue and ignite a renewed journey of their own."

A compilation of thoughts on relationships, remembrances and letting go, "Quiet Thoughts" is written with raw emotion as author hopes to encourage readers to accept life as a journey and learning experience.

An excerpt from the thematic, titular poem "Quiet Thoughts":

"Written on paper
Engraved on the mind
Felt in the soul
Held in the heart"
