Author Robert Zorich takes readers through space and time where a new machine threatens to destroy the earth if it falls into the wrong hands in his new science-fiction novel, "The Far Side of Forever" (published by iUniverse).

"Our society is constantly being driven by technologies that we don't really understand, technologies that can shake its foundations," says Zorich. "Both business and political groups are eager to use these new technologies to try and manipulate our culture into some mold, but often no one even knows who is pulling the strings. Who is the wizard behind the curtain?"

Physicist John Gillian and mathematician Rebecca Harleson have just changed the world. Their team has just developed a machine that can send messages through time and space. The machine's creation shocks the world and attracts friends, protestors and seedy politicians.

In order to prevent misuse of the machine, the Secretary of Technology Development takes over the project, hoping to use it to solve an ongoing genetics crisis, but as paradoxes manifest and the world spins out of control, Gillian and Harelson must rally their team to find a way to stop the escalating events before it's too late.

Zorich hopes to inspire questioning and a sense of wonder in his readers. He says, "I want them to think about who is running things, how technology is getting away from us and to spend some time contemplating the basic nature of the universe around us."
