Robert Findlay Releases New Children's Book, RUSTY TO THE RESCUE

Two young boys compete to determine whose yacht is faster, leading to near disaster in the colorful new children's book by Robert Findlay, "Rusty to the Rescue" (published by AuthorHouse UK).

As a child, Findlay heard a story of yachts capsized on an island off the coast of New Zealand. Based on that story and Findlay's own family pet, "Rusty to the Rescue" tells an exciting tale of adventure and heroics.

Joe and Ben are so eager to race their yachts that they forget to check the weather report or the tide times and take off on a race around Flat Island. The storm that comes up catches them by surprise, capsizing their boats and stranding them on the uninhabited island.

Rescue attempts are made to no avail until two boys - the Finn Boys - and their trusty dog Rusty arrive on the scene. The tide is low and the local Volunteer Fire Brigade can't get their boat in the water, so they enlist the Finn boys' help, but Rusty turns out to be the real hero of the day.
