Robert Erickson's "Fluke Family King: Book Three in the Saga of Maynerd Dumsted" (published by iUniverse) is the third installment in the misadventures of Sir Maynerd Fluke Dumsted, knight and Royal National Hero. Although ordered by King Kruke to tour the four lands of Gnaught in an effort to unify the feuding kingdoms, Dumsted's mind is on finding his one love, Fata Morgana, who has vanished from Gnaught.

Erickson says the idea for the series came to him while serving in the Coast Guard: "It was lonely riding a ship at sea away from family," he says, adding "I found that writing a humorous fantasy was a perfect solution."

Readers seeking laughter in a fantastical world of swordplay and sorcery will find it here: the story is told in a tongue-in-cheek style with nods to its fantastical narrative.

Erickson is embarking on a marketing campaign to promote "Fluke Family King."
