Richard Rohr Wins Independent Press Award for 'Eager to Love'

Rohr receives national recognition through the Independent Press Award®.

The Independent Press Award competition has recognized Eager to Love: The Alternative Way of Francis of Assisi, written by Richard Rohr and published by Franciscan Media, as a winner in the category of Christian (Nonfiction).

In Eager to Love, Franciscan priest Rohr explores how the life and practices of Sts. Francis and Clare of Assisi can illuminate Christianity and spirituality, and how people today can use the lessons of Francis and Clare to be transformed by God.
