Ric Craig, a retired artist, sales professional and a Viet Nam Marine Corp Veteran, has completed his first book "What I Did When the World Ended - The Adventures of Hoss Ostroski": an adventurous journey that follows an intriguing man on his quest to fight for his survival and the survival of the his small group he must now lead.

In describing his book, author Ric Craig said of his first novel, "It is a story of ordinary people who rise to the task in an extraordinary situation. That these situations do not change people but magnify the traits already present in them."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Ric Craig's adventurous tale is a powerful work of modern fiction with twists and turns that make this enthralling page turner an engrossing obsession from start to finish.

The world is falling apart. Countries are at war. The United States is starting to drift apart-literally and figuratively. In this chaotic world of uncertainty, Hoss wakes up with his memory gone. His only companion, his wolf named Wolf. Hoss takes refuge in a castle that used to be an old folks' home. In that castle, he finds himself with other survivors who each had their own story of survival to tell. With their lives at stake, Hoss takes charge of the group and tries to survive in a dangerous world fraught with constant danger and evil.
Fighting other people for survival is one thing. But fighting against giant rats, venomous brightly colored snakes, dinosaur-like alligators, monster sharks, cannibals, and people who were drugged to be vicious killing machines is another. How long can they hold out? How long can they stay alive? Welcome to the day the world ended.

Readers who wish to experience this chilling work can purchase "What I Did When the World Ended - The Adventures of Hoss Ostroski" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
