'Revising Mrs. Robinson: Navigating Cougar-Club Dating and Relationships' is Released

Dating is never easy, but for a woman looking to date younger men, the task becomes even more challenging. Suzanna Mathews, also known as The Date Maven, uses her experience in dating services to tackle ageism, sexism and cross-generational relationships in her new book, "Revising Mrs. Robinson: Navigating Cougar-Cub Dating and Relationships."

In "Revising Mrs. Robinson," Mathews provides a guide for steering through the challenges of intergenerational relationships, examining the generational gap that shows up in the financial, sexual and social aspects of dating. She also explores the social stigmas surrounding age-gap partnerships, focusing on how these relationships bloom despite their divergence from dating norms. Mathews supports her findings with social science research and testimonials from women of all age groups and explains the perks and pitfalls of dating a younger man.

"Too often I've seen self-doubt and cultural pressures ruin the relationship a woman has with a younger man," Mathews said. "My goal with Revising Mrs. Robinson is to empower women to seek the relationship they want, regardless of their age or the age of their partner. I want to arm women with the knowledge they need to make the most of their relationship with a younger man while also making them aware of the difficulties, both internally or externally, they might face."

Mathews works to dispel the negative stereotypes that are often associated with older women and their relationships with younger men in "Revising Mrs. Robinson." She supports the notion that women deserve to have the fulfilling relationship they have always dreamed of at any age.

Suzanna Mathews is an expert in first impression management and gender communication, while specializing in soulful-spiritual relationships, intergenerational dating and high net worth relationships. Today, she continues her work out of Wichita, Kansas where she also works as a keynote speaker, wedding officiant and image consultant.
