DIAMOND BAR, Calif.

Author and ordained Baptist minister Reverend O.L. Johnson spent more than 20 years studying God's word and Jesus' Gospel. Johnson decided to combine his knowledge with God's inspiration to bring a clearer understanding of the gospel to readers everywhere - something to which he says everyone is entitled.

Johnson invites readers to experience his new book, "Explaining the Gospel: The Back to Basics Series Two" (published by WestBow Press), which presents the Gospel in simple and easy-to-understand language.

"One's spiritual condition and relationship with his maker is important in any society, including today's," Johnson says. "This book enlightens on these life issues for all people."

In "Explaining the Gospel," Johnson gives readers a concise but in-depth look at the Gospel. He asserts that he writes everything using his KISS method, which stands for "keep it short and simple." Johnson hopes that by using this method, he can make the provisions of the Gospel available to all readers, regardless of education or background.

"It is God-inspired," Johnson says of his book. "He gave me this assignment to give people an easier way to absorb the Gospel."
