Inspired by her grandchildren, Rev. Maxine Gray pens "Children's Lesson on Morality" (published by Trafford Publishing). This book teaches children about the important lessons that promote morals and ethics.
The story begins with a carefree little piglet, Piggy Zee, playing in the forest when she suddenly finds herself in danger as a large eagle "Tubal" threatens to have her for dinner. She is warned and aided by her forest friends, all except one selfish peacock. What will be in store for a peacock who refuses to help a friend in need? Will she learn valuable lessons about compassion and selflessness?
This book gives children valuable messages for life's journey. They will learn that if they do wrong to others it will return to them, and that it is important to care and be helpful to those in trouble. Children will be delighted with the fascinating characters and the vibrant colors of this book.
"I want readers to adore the characters, and discuss the content with their children as a lesson," Gray says. She also emphasizes that selfishness and compassion are learned behaviors so it will be effective to help the young ones understand and learn ethics on proper behavior. She hopes parents can guide their offspring by teaching them the "Children's Lesson on Morality."
