"Every morning as I wake up and look out of the window, I see our animals. We have so many different animals on The Farm. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, cows, horses, dogs and cats. Let's talk about all of them." And so opens Regina Gershman's second children's book "Animals From My Window" (published by AuthorHouse)

"Animals From My Window" colorfully introduces young readers to the animals that live on The Farm, their habitat, what they eat and the sound each animal makes.

Gershman's inspiration came from her wanting to share the excitement of animals with young children. "I work with city children who never get a chance to come close to The Farm animals," she explains. "Pre-school children like visual elements and especially cute animals. When I read my books at the libraries and bookstores, I see wonder and excitement in children's eyes, and also when I show them the pictures of these animals, I ask children about the sounds each animal makes."

"Animals From My Window" is both educational and entertaining for a young child's mind. Gershman's book is the recipient of the Honorable Mention Award from the organization, Achieve The Dream.
