Local Author Releases Fifth Novel in Her Successful Series and Holds Special Promotion

Author / Novel: Rebekah Armusik, Book 5: "In the Shadows of Eden"

Hamburg, Pennsylvania author Rebekah Armusik has done it again. In the past three years she has released five novels in her thirteen book Gothic Memoirs series. Her most recent title, "In the Shadows of Eden" has just been released this August 1 to great reviews.

Rebekah's novels have sold over 10000 copies worldwide and she continues to captivate her readers with her unique story and well-developed characters. Deliberately choosing to buck the trend of today's paranormal literature, Rebekah has reinvigorated the classic style of Gothic literature with a contemporary spin. Her series takes place in both Eastern Europe and her birthplace of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

From a young age, Rebekah Armusik was a gifted and dramatic writer. By the tender age of ten, she was writing poetry and short stories that were inspired by her grandmother's tales of Slavic folklore. At first, the novel was more of an autobiographical project that centered on her eccentric Slovak family and her experiences in Northeast Pennsylvania. Before long, Rebekah's love of Gothic fiction began to change the direction of the novel and the Gothic Memoirs series was born.

Rebekah is married to the artist Eric Armusik. The covers to her novels are painted by the artist and all design and branding of the series is a collaboration between this artistic couple.
