Hanover, N.H.
Raymond Malley has a quite interesting and unusual background. He was born into a working-class family during the Great Depression, and with a different last name than the rest of the household. This vexed him much of his life and prompted him to trace his ancestry, acquire excellent education and pursue an international career.
In his book, "My Life and Thoughts" (published by Xlibris), Malley describes the many years he spent tracing his roots back to their amazing journey from 16th century France to the United States, uncovering his adventurous kin who immigrated to New France (now Canada) and created successful lives. He relates their story to his own successful struggles to achieve his dreams of higher education and pursuit of an international life of serious purpose and service.
"My book will appeal to readers for two reasons," says Malley. "First, it describes how one can trace ancestry, in my case back to 16th century France, which is unusually long. Second, it details how a boy poor in funds and advice but having exceptional grit and determination, can with hard work acquire an excellent higher education and arrive in a position to succeed in an international career."
"My Life and Thoughts" will show readers how one man's determination, grit, persistence, and hard work enabled him to overcome obstacles, attain his goals and become successful in life, even against extremely great odds.
