MELBOURNE, Australia

Author Raymond Burt seeks to deliver what he feels is an important message to society in his new book, "An Interview with the Devil: Prophecy and Thy Dead Script" (published by Balboa Press AU).

Relying on his interpretation of the Bible, Burt explores the afterlife and the vice, avarice and general despondency he sees in the world. Burt points out the gods he feels society worships, such as material wealth, and shows the consequences he believes will befall those involved in this idolatry.

"It's inspired by God, the father," Burt says of his book. "It is the protest towards the many seekers of evil and sin."

Burt claims the devastation and terrorism seen in the world today is evidential of what he feels is sin within the world. He hopes readers will walk away seeing a larger picture of what God wants for them and a vision for how to improve the world around them.
