YORBA LINDA, Calif.

Unexplainable fires started erupting in an apocalyptic scale around the globe, triggering a set of events that traps the world in a pseudo 19th century situation. Can humanity survive this abrupt change or will it cause a major downfall that will lead to ultimate cataclysm? In a fictional story that weaves romance and suspense in one, author Robert Ludolph captures a terrifying thread of possibility if humanity is to engage in a new-age war.

"WORLD AFLAME" (published by Xlibris) follows the story of field reporter Rick Landis two years prior to the holocaust. Rick is attracted to the mysterious Sydney Marston, assistant of Chuck Wainwright who also has his own share of secrets. Wainwright reveals to Rick that he is a leader of a secret underground government militia. But what government? While assigned overseas, Rick finds himself trapped as the global fires break out and all transportation is terminated. Soon, he and his photographer pal Marty learn that an army of giant hybrid soldiers is set to invade Israel. Will this conflict escalate into a global war? Would this mean the end of peace - or Rick's romantic hopes with the beautiful Sydney?

Ablaze with murder, treachery and betrayal, "WORLD AFLAME" is an entirely riveting read that explores the horrifying effects of war, the dangers of political manipulation and the remarkable valor of a determined spirit.
