Motivated by his exposure to adulterous marriages through his psychology practice, author Rosalío Contreras is making a new marketing push for his Spanish-language book, "Hombres Infieles: De la fantasia a la realidad" (published by WestBow Press).

"Seeing the terrible confusion that the faithful person has endured makes me provide a process that can give guidance to the faithful spouse," Contreras says. "If we made consciences aware of the reality of adultery, we could also find ways of fighting against it. I firmly believe in lifetime love and I am sure many readers (do), too."

Contreras had two objectives in mind when he wrote the book: To warn couples about the process of adultery and to avoid divorce caused by adultery.

"I would say that adultery is a 'program' that has been installed in the unfaithful's mind since he was... a child, and it is activated at some point in his life," Contreras adds. "I must say that an event like this one should not mark the end of a marriage, because I have witnessed many cases where after adultery, forgiveness and reconciliation are possible."
